IMPORTANT MOT UPDATE
Please read carefully until the end as there is important information regarding MOT’s.
The government has announced today that there has been a change in circumstances in regards to MOT testing.
Please follow the links below as they will inform you of the details that you need to know.
If your MOT expires on or after the 30th March 2020 click here
If your MOT expires before the 30th March 2020 click here
For MOT’s expiring before 30th March, we can carry out these as normal.
If you are attending your MOT appointment, the following precautionary measures will be in effect.
WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING A PAPER COPY OF YOUR MOT CERTIFICATE FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. INSTEAD WE WILL REQUEST YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS AND YOU WILL BE EMAILED A DIGITAL COPY.
As from Monday 30th March any MOT’s that expire on or after that date will NOT be tested until further notice.
WE WILL STILL BE SERVICING AND CARRYING OUT REPAIRS AT THIS TIME.

Our retail store will be closed until further notice.
After the government’s announcement, we at Chadwell Motorcycles will be carrying on our duties in regards to MOT’s & Repairs.
We will be implementing measures to keep our staff and customers safe against COVID-19 virus and are going to follow the Government’s guidelines.
FROM NOW ON WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT CARD PAYMENTS.
A disposable glove will be provided to enter your PIN if contactless is not possible.
The 6 FT (2 metre) rule will be implemented and customers may not cross certain barriers.
Customers will also be asked to drop vehicles off to the rear of the shop (Workshop entrance) & drop their key in a specified place.
A seat will be provided but unfortunately it will not be inside the premises.
Customers are asked not to engage in a social manner.
Any vehicles that are an essential mode of transport for key workers i.e NHS staff WILL BE prioritised.
For those non essential jobs and MOTs that are currently booked in, these will be honoured but PLEASE let us know if you will NOT be attending as this will allow us to book more pressing jobs.
